Two weeks ago Porter, an ex guide dog, came to live at Parkview (through Pet Rescue) . He is being cared for by staff but his main carer is a resident. This resident was struggling with life. She was having more downs than ups in her day. Since Porter has come to Parkview she now has a sense of purpose.

She walks him, helps feed him and he sleeps in her room. She says she has someone to love and care for and there is someone that loves her. The difference it has made in her life is wonderful.

Staff too, are to be commended, as they have whole heartily agreed to care for him- coming in early to take him for walks, accepting him as part of life at Parkview.
