Fun fete and fundraiser just in time to get a present for Mum

There’s something for everyone and especially for Mum at the Wesley Mission Brisbane (WMB) Emmaus Village Fun n Fete and fundraiser on Sunday 2 May from 10am to 2pm and everyone is invited.

A fashion parade will showcase the new Autumn collection and trends from UnderCoverWear at 10.30am, with this year’s essential wardrobe items for every Mum and afterwards Mums can be pampered by a free Nutrimetics makeover.

Stalls will include a variety of wonderful craft items created by WMB Emmaus Village residents, as well as plants, greeting cards, baking, second-hand books, bric-a-brac and secondhand treasures.

Children can purchase a lucky special type of lucky-dip and giant raffles with 20 prizes to give away throughout the fete. This is the perfect place to have some fun, enjoy some fashion and find that extra special present for yourself or your Mum.

Entry is free and all proceeds raised will help towards purchasing craft supplies and providing special guest speakers and entertainment for the residents of WMB Emmaus Village.

Wesley Mission Brisbane was established in 1907 and leads the way in providing aged care, youth support, disability services and support for the disadvantaged.
